Little day trip to Bishop Waltham

When trying to find places to go i always type in the name on Instagram to see if theres any pretty photograph opportunities. Which when said out loud sounds really sad, but i know its worth the visit then. While doing my Instagram research i found a little village just twelve miles south east of Winchester called Bishop Waltham. To make it more of a little adventure i invited Blogger and good friend Kirsti to come with me. (Check out her blog at

If you ever get the chance to go, its a lovely village filled with small little boutique shops and small cozy cafes. We went to a lovely place for brunch called Josie’s and deli. It opens back in 2011 and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They off a wide range of exclusive wines, Monmouth speciality coffee, loose leaf teas and freshly made food. I heard they did the best pancakes, so of course i had to try them, and i wasn’t mistaken. They were truly the best pancakes I’ve ever had. They were covered in seasonal fruit, vanilla cream and maple syrup. You could asked for a stack of two or three, i went for two, which was the right decision as i couldn’t finish it all. And i had a lovely cold glass of fresh apple juice to wash it down with. Kirsti had the eggs Royale which looked beautiful. Everything was lovely presented and had the perfect portion size. Nothing worse then going out somewhere to eat and the size of the meal is so small.  They also have things for gluten free which is always a good touch. Very happy with Josie’s and will defiantly be going back again. They also have a shop in Winchester.

My outfit of the day was a grey funnel neck flute sleeve cropped jumper from M&S £35, Pink duffle coat also from M&S £90,A black cord skirt from Next £25, Black Chelsea boots from next £35 and across body bag from Matalan £16, which has some slight resemblance of a Chloe bag which makes me happy. Here are some snaps by Kirsti.
