March BirchBox review

So its the second to last weekend of March and I’ve been pretty bad with blogging, which i do apologise for. But we all have those months where things just get really busy and when you have time to blog, you’d just rather chill out and relax after all the rushing around. So now I’ve apologised lets move on to the real reason you’re here. And thats for the review of this months Birchbox.

Ive actually had two Birch boxes before this one, however i never thought that beauty reviews were my thing and i didn’t know if i wanted to get into it, but you have to try these things out. So lets start with a quick introduction about BirchBox. It started back in September 2010 when two beauty lovers Katie and Hayley realised shopping for products was frustrating, inefficient and confusing. They created this idea where their customers get to learn and test new products before buying the products. so each month a little box arrives, which are all designed beautifully, full of new products to try.
And this months box is a celebration box. The box design is the original kraft box because BirchBox have now reached over 100,000 subscribers in the UK and have also gained many new subscribers in 6 countries. And for such a big milestone in the company they have teamed up with – the expert provider of luxury tailor-made holidays- to a giveaway trip of 3 nights in a 4* hotel in in Paris! So of course I’m going to enter that.
Now then, the products…

Benefit, double the lip in Lusty Rose / rrp £16.50* Finally someone has created a lipstick which has a liner at the top and a long lasting lipstick at the bottom. And Benefit didn’t disappoint me. Its easy to use with the teardrop tip which glides nicely along this lip. And the Lusty Rose colour is going to be my spring shade for sure.
Balance Me, instant lift primer / rrp £22* Balance Me products give me mix feelings, sometimes i think their products are good and sometimes i left feeling disappointed. This product is meant to help “blur the lines” by tightening the skin for a smoother and refined skin. I wouldn’t personally buy this product but I’m sure after time and a lot of it you may see a difference.
Rituals, Sakura foaming shower gell / rrp £4.50* This stuff is amazing!! The smell is so fruity and fresh and my skin feels so smooth thanks to the organic rise milk which is used. The magic of it, is the gel transformers into a foam which means you don’t have to use loads at once. And the price make me happy too!
Batiste, 2-in-1 invisible dry shampoo & conditioner / rrp £4.49* I love Batiste and I’m sure most of us do. Washing our hair is a nightmare, i actually dread the days when it has to be done. I love using my dry shampoo and now that they are doing a 2-in-1 collection makes me very happy. I will defiantly be buying these!!
Caudali, glow activating anti-wrinkle serum / rrp £36* Im at the age now where I’m get little wrinkles near my eyes. So wrinkles are my main issue but this product is meant to help the stress or modern life, as in tiredness, stress and pollution. And for me this is perfect as i leave my house at 6:20 am work in London with all the pollution and get home 8pm. This serum delivers a shot of anti-cell burn-out complex to brighten dull skin and smooth fine lines. I like this product but i wont be spending £36 on it!!
